Here's a traveler setup for a "New Style". My goal was to allow the car to move all the way to the stop without binding. The factory setup does bind quite a bit and is difficult to engage and release. By placing the cam and block on a riser, the lines do not pull down on the car as much and you can get your fingers under the line at the cam end in order to engage the cams. Looking back, I could have used longer risers and brought the action closer to the winches. I placed my autopiot in the pix for sailors looking to add this item |
