Here is an easy shelf project for a "New Style." A length of chair rail from Home Depot, a scrap of plywood, some stainless and Cetol. After finishing the lumber, screw the chair rail into the edge of the plywood. To mount the shelf, use longer screws from the forward side of the bulkhead screwed into the shelf material. On the tail end, simply screw the plywood into the edge of the cabin bulkhead just below the electrical panel. Feel around in there and don't drill into your wiring.
